Inside & outside account executive position that will prospect and cultivate relationships in the domestic and international recycling market. This market includes the plastic, paper and foam scrap commodity markets.
Employee will be responsible to build relationships with customers and vendors at all stages of the sales cycle.
In order to build relationships it will be necessary to contact potential customers from our database of contacts in order to evaluate their needs while conveying the ability of our company to help buy or sell their scrap material.
Position requires a self starter that knows how to work remotely at times.
Up to 25% travel required in order to build relationships with existing and prospective customers. Travel includes site visits, travel to different states and trade shows.
As a Sales Executive you will be responsible to calculate profit in order to gauge the risk and reward that is associated with deals.
Must be able to coordinate logistics to transport the scrap from vendor to customer all while providing impeccable service before, during and after each shipment.
Employee must hit quarterly sales and performance goals set internally. The ability to manage goals and targets is critical as you will be responsible for discussing marketing plans, vertical markets, current/pending deals as well as future opportunities to the sales team on a weekly conference call.
It will be critical for you to find new ways to increase the efficiency of our business as well as the internal sales process. Technology is key to our growth and you must be knowledgeable in using an Apple suite of products.
Any blog writing experience or desire is a plus.
Entry-level graduates with a BS/BA in Business, Communications, Finance or related field is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication skills, which include a desire to build rapport with customers over the phone and in person. Personality is key!
Prior work experience and internships are preferred
